I haven't had any money what so ever for a few weeks now and they have been fantastic in church some friends have come around with bags of food so I can get something to eat and on Sunday on in the Pastoral Team asked me how I had it with food and money etc.

 

I'm this type of person that I'm never ask for anything I rather starve myself to deth then ask people for help !!! and she said that we belong to a church and  when we belong to a church we become like a family - that is why we are called a church family and they are there to help people if someone is in need and she wanted to help me so she asked me when I was in the office next time and I told her.

 

They had put together a bag for me with food but what i didn't know about which almost made my cry was that she must have spoken to the others in the pastoral team and said that she thought I needed money to help me get by until I get paid.  Andy he is the Head of the church came up to me on Tuesday when I was in the office and said that Judy wanted me to have this money because she new I was struggling and they gave me £100 !! They have a fond for things like this he said but I almost started to cry I didn't expect that at all..... 

 

I have belonged to a few churches when I was younger but none of them have helped people out like this..I know a few churches in B'ham that do and it is right because they should if people really need it..

 

Do your church do that ???
